BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Police in Battle Creek are requesting public assistance in finding two missing children.
Police say that 7-year-old Bentley Dunkelberger and 9-year-old Karley Dunkelberger are believed to be with their parents, Dennis and Rebecca Dunkelberger.
Investigators now believe that the Dunkelberger family may now be in the Denver, CO area. As a result, Colorado police have been informed of the situation.
Police say that previously existing court orders are not being followed by the parents, and a welfare check on the children is needed as a result.
The parents were last seen driving a black 2013 Kia Sorento. The vehicle has a Michigan license plate of 4LUZ90.
Bentley is described as being three feet, eight inches tall. He weighs 46 pounds and has curly brown hair. He also wears glasses and has a stutter
Karley is described as having a height of three feet, ten inches tall, weighing 61 pounds. She has long blonde, curly hair and is diagnosed with autism.
