LEE TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A man is dead and another is in custody after a shooting in Allegan County.
Deputies were called to the scene near the 500 block of 55th Street near 105th Avenue in Lee Township, south of Pullman around 6:15 p.m. Thursday where they discovered a 50-year-old man dead at the scene.
A 62-year-old man was still at the residence when authorities arrived, so he was taken into custody and booked into the Allegan County Jail on open murder charges.
No other details have been released at this time.
The victim’s name will be released after the family is notified and the suspect’s name will not be given until after arraignment.
