ROSS TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A Galesburg man is in serious condition after a single-car crash in Ross Township.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff deputies say the 24-year-old driver was traveling southbound in the 6400 block of North 39th Street near Sherman Lake just after 11:30 p.m. Monday when they lost control on the curvy roadway, crossed the centerline, and struck multiple trees.
He was unconscious when officers arrived, removed from the vehicle by Ross-Augusta Fire/Rescue, and taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but they are not believed to be life-threatening.
Speed may have been a factor in the crash.
The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Michigan State Police Accident Reconstruction Team.
