RICHLAND, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Luke Bryan is apologizing to his Southwest Michigan fans after his 2019 Farm Tour stop in Richland was postponed on Friday due to inclement weather.
He released a video on his Facebook page thanking everyone for being understanding saying that, “We’re picking a new date very, very soon.”
However, that new date has not been released at this time, but apparently he is working with township officials to bring the tour back to Richland.
About 20,000 country music fans were expected to attend the big farm concert at Stafford Farms at Richland Park Friday night. It began with many fans struggling to get into the venue as officials delayed parking due to lightning.
The concert was then canceled about 5-minutes into the opening performer’s set due to lightning and severe thunderstorms. Attendees were forced to go back to their vehicles.
The promoter says refunds will only be issued if a show is canceled in it’s entirety, so those looking to get a refund for the postponed show, most likely, will not get one.
