MACKINAC ISLAND, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — It seems that Congressman Fred Upton will seek a reelection bid for his 18th term in Congress.
The rumor comes after he was handing out “Upton 2020” buttons at the Mackinaw Republican Leadership Conference over the weekend.
He told MIRS News that he has not slowed down from working 12-to-14 hour days and still manages to be home every weekend.
The 66-year-old Republican has held the 6th Congressional District seat since he was first elected in 1986.
