KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A month after one Kalamazoo County Commissioner announced his resignation, another one is now stepping down.
District 2 Commissioner Paul Haag, who represents the Southside, Edison, and Milwood Neighborhoods, has resigned, effective immediately.
The announcement was made by Commissioner Stephanie Moore Friday night on her Facebook page, saying that now the board has 30-days to fill the vacant seat.
The reason for his resignation was not made known, but commissioners will discuss the issue more at their next meeting.
This comes almost exactly a month after Commissioner Ron Kendall, who represented District 6, officially resigned from the board.
