PARCHMENT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Township of Kalamazoo Police Department is reporting that a suspect has been arrested in a case involving home invasion and animal cruelty.
Police say the incident occurred in the 400 Block of Keyes Dr. in Parchment on Monday, Nov. 25th.
The suspect is described as a 33-year-old Kalamazoo County resident who arrived at the victim’s home for an undetermined reason.
Upon arriving, the suspect repeatedly kicked the family pet before entering the home and allegedly assaulting the victim.
The Township of Kalamazoo Police Officers arrested the suspect on Tuesday, Nov. 26th and lodged her at the Kalamazoo County Jail. The case is now being forwarded to the Kalamazoo County Prosecuting Attorney’s office for further review.
The case remains under investigation at this time.
