COOPERSVILLE, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The search is on for whoever broke into a Coopersville gun shop and stole an undisclosed amount of firearms during the overnight hours on Monday.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. J. Douglas, an alarm at the Palladium Gun Shop, 157 Eastmanville St., brought deputies to the building around 3:40 a.m. Investigators found signs of a burglary, and an undetermined amount of weapons was taken.
A K-9 unit tracked the suspects a short distance before losing the scent, and it appears, Douglas said, the perpetrators stepped into a vehicle to make their getaway.
