DENVER, CO (WTVB) – The Denver Broncos scored twice in the fourth quarter as they rallied to beat the Detroit Lions 27-17 Sunday in Denver.
DaeSean Hamilton caught a touchdown to give Denver the lead early in the fourth. Phillip Lindsay rushed for a 27-yard score to put Denver up double digits late. Lindsay finished with 109 rushing yards. Drew Lock threw for 192 yards and a score as the Broncos improved to 6-and-9.
Kenny Golladay had 66 receiving yards and a touchdown for the Lions. Jamal Agnew returned a punt 64 yards for a touchdown for Detroit, which drops to 3-11-and-1.
Detroit only had 191 yards of offense.
Detroit has lost eight in-a-row. Green Bay comes to town this Sunday.
Another Lions loss in Denver will be a win come NFL Draft day. With both the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins winning yesterday, the Lions are now in position to pick third overall next April. They could still move up to number-two. The Cincinnati Bengals have clinched the top pick.
