PARCHMENT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A local roofing company pitched in to help one Parchment resident in need this holiday season.
80-year-old Mae Troutman had been seeking assistance for the past two years to have a hole in her roof repaired. The damage done to her home created freezing temperatures that created a path for snow to get inside.
After finding out about Troutman’s home, the local contractor Tyler Home Improvement worked to collect donations to pay for repairing her roof once and for all.
Management at the company said they were happy to help an area resident in need. The company says that they expect work to be done in a matter of days.
