ALLEGAN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Allegan General Hospital is welcoming a new member to its medical staff. Dr. Josh Natali, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), will be joining the Allegan Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center.
According to an official press release, Natali’s specialties include experience in the areas of sports medicine, general orthopedics, and total joint replacement.
The press release adds that Natali completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Beacon Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio, which involved working with athletes of all ages including the Cincinnati Reds.
“What I love about Sports Medicine is that it encompasses all ages from kids to adults,” Dr. Natali said in the press release. “It can be the high school athlete, a weekend warrior, or the retiree who loves to golf. My goal is the same for all of them, to give them the best lifestyle possible. I want to help people return to activities they are passionate about and enjoy.”
Natali says that having aches and pains should not deter individuals from enjoying sporting activities, and that there are solutions outside of surgery.
“Scheduling an appointment with an Orthopedic Surgeon does not obligate a patient to a surgical procedure,” Dr. Natali added. “I prefer to use the approach of aggressive non-operative treatment as opposed to conservative care. There are numerous modalities to prevent surgery including physical therapy and injections, among others.”
Appointments with Dr. Natali can be scheduled by calling the Allegan Medical Clinic’s Allegan Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center at (269) 673-5571.
The Allegan Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center is located at 551 Linn Street, Suite 220 in Allegan.
