PORTAGE (WKZO AM/FM) – Portage Public Safety continues to investigate 2 attempted break ins early Monday morning.
Authorities responded to an alarm at the Target store on S Westnedge around 3 Monday morning, and found a broken glass door…officers also discovered a broken door at the Game Stop store nearby.
A surveillance video provided at Target revealed a suspect wearing all black clothing entering the store and then leaving.
A man matching that description riding a bike on Westnedge near Target was detained…he then admitted to having committed both break-ins. He was subsequently taken to the Kalamazoo County Jail.
