KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — State Police spent several hours searching the home of Pastor Strick Strickland late Thursday following allegations criminal sexual conduct and pandering against someone who lives at the address.
Interim Post Commander, Sgt. Melissa Bernum says there is more than one victim.
No one has been charged and she did not specify exactly who is under investigation in her news release.
They say they will turn over their investigation file to the prosecutor.
Strickland, who is Pastor at the Second Baptist Church and also President of the local Chapter of the NAACP is denying any involvement, and claims it’s an effort to discredit him.
Strickland’s name recently came up in the Aniya Mack murder investigation as having had an inappropriate relationship with the victim. It is another allegation he denies.
Strickland says he wants to talk with an attorney before commenting any further.
