MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – A Marshall Public Schools teacher who is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old female student was arraigned Thursday in Calhoun County District Court.
The Calhoun County Prosecutors Office has charged 33-year-old Jason Bushong with one count of first degree criminal sexual conduct and three counts of third degree C.S.C..
The mother of the alleged victim reportedly found her daughter and the defendant in the back seat of his car near his Bedford Township home earlier this week and called police.
Bushong was ordered held on a $100,000 bond. A preliminary examination has been scheduled for April 3, 2018.
