GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Hopcat may be bowing to political correctness or simply tweaking a marketing mistake but the most popular item on their menu, their Crack Fries, are about to be renamed.
They admit that the addictive nature of the beer battered and deep fried sensations was one of the reasons they went with the name originally, that and the cracked pepper in the recipe, but now they say that the nation’s drug problem is no joking matter.
When their new menu is printed next month the fries will have a new name.
They haven’t yet announced what the new name will be, but one person commented on their post recommending the name, “Cat Fries.”
