KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Versiti Blood Center of Michigan is encouraging citizens to donate blood in order to honor the lost lives of 9/11 today (WEDNESDAY).
At all Michigan locations, as well as the Michigan International Speedway, any participating donors will be honored with a special 9/11 commemoration card.
All residents 17 years of age and older in good health are welcome to participate.
Kalamazoo-area donors can participate by going to the Versiti location in Portage at 524 E. Milham Ave.
Elsewhere in Southwest Michigan, donors can visit the St. Joseph location at 2710 Cleveland Ave.
