KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Halloween Forest, a free trick-or-treating event for families, will return to Milham Park in Kalamazoo this Saturday
Organizers say Milham Park will be filled from 2:00-4:00 p.m. with fall-themed games and activities like jumping spiders, “boo”loon bounce, and broom zoom for kids and families to play together. There will also be inflatable games including inflatable Pumpkin Toss, inflatable Zap a Mole, inflatable duel axe throwing, and an inflatable bobbing for apples game where participants will race to the center of the inflatable to grab apples.
A 45-minute Spooky Fun Magic Show by John Dudley will start at 3:00 p.m. and Growlers mascot Porter will be greeting and posing for photos with guests. There will be plenty of candy at “Trick-or-Treat” stations and food and drinks will be available for purchase from Ibison Concessions, Ollys Donuts, and Coffee Rescue.
“We’re making Halloween Forest bigger and more fun this year, with more candy, more activities, and new full-size decorations featuring characters like Frankenstein, Maleficent, and Jack, Sally, and Zero from The Nightmare Before Christmas,” said Zachary Farley, Special Events Coordinator for Kzoo Parks. “It’s a great opportunity for families to dress up, spend time together, and enjoy a free afternoon at Milham Park.”
Event parking will be available at the Milham Park parking area off Kilgore Road near the pavilion. Overflow parking will also be available across the street at Loy Norrix High School.
