KALAMAZOO, Mi (WKZO AM/FM) – Weather forecasting is an inexact science. Just ask anyone who lives in southwest Michigan.
An approaching winter storm hasn’t indicated whether the state is in for a dusting of the white stuff, or if it’s in the direct path of what could be a substantial snowfall.
Different models have shown that southwest Michigan could get up to six inches of snow Monday or that it could be as little as an inch or two.
It all depends on the path of the storm, which could be influenced by a high over Ontario. It could track close to the state and leave its calling card with the largest snowfall the area has seen since last year.
