ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Sept. 11, 2026) – The Allegan County Fair kicks off its 174th edition on Friday.
There will be morning 4-H activities, along with the the Skerbeck carnival at 3 PM, and an evening concert by Wynonna Judd and Melissa Etheridge. Despite tougher economic times this year, Executive Director Saree Miller is confident that banner crowds will flock to the fairgrounds (150 Douglas St.) through its nine-day run.
Breaking Benjamin is the featured entertainment on Saturday, with a Sunday Unique Motor Sports Off-Road Derby, both in the grandstand at the Allegan County Fair.
