PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The City of Portage is alerting citizens to a lane closure that will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Weather permitting, the closure will begin in the westbound lane of East Centre Avenue from Newell’s Lane to Lovers Lane.
The purpose of the lane closure is for pavement repair on Lovers Lane, north of East Centre Avenue.
Motorists are advised to be on the lookout for for construction activities and to seek alternate routes to avoid delays.
Construction and lane restrictions are scheduled to be completed by Friday, October 18, 2019, weather permitting.
