PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — An investigation is underway after an early morning house fire in Portage.
Firefighters from Portage and Pavilion Township were dispatched to the 900 block of Bacon Avenue between Terry Lane and Roger Street just before 2 a.m. Wednesday where they found heavy flames at the front of the structure.
The fire was brought under control in about 20-minutes and there were no reported injuries.
The cause is still unknown.
