BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Following its official opening on October 11th, the new battle Creek medical marijuana dispensary Common Citizen will be hosting a grand opening ceremony this Saturday, October 19th.
Common Citizen is the lifestyle brand of Michigan Pure Med, which is the largest pharmaceutical-grade medical marijuana company in Michigan.
The grand opening ceremony is known as “Common Ground” and will run from noon to 5 p.m. Attractions will include DJs, prize giveaways, and a ribbon cutting ceremony at 1:30 p.m.
“At Common Citizen, we’re passionate about giving back to the communities we serve through community events and volunteering with local causes,” CEO of Michigan Pure Med and Common Citizen Michael Elias said in a press release. “Common Ground is our way to say thank you to the Battle Creek community for welcoming us to the area, and we’re excited to meet our new neighbors and patients at our celebration.”
Patients aged 18 and older with a medical marijuana card are welcome to attend, while citizens without a card must be 21 or older to attend.
