KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A suspect is at large after a shooting on Kalamazoo’s Northside.
On Friday Public Safety officers were told that a victim was on their way to a local hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound and that it occurred at an unknown address on Blakeslee Street.
When they arrived they located the scene in the 1200 block of Blakeslee, secured it, and the Kalamazoo Metro SWAT Team and the Crisis Negotiation Team were called in to investigate.
At last reported the gunman is still at large. The only description given is that he is a white man in his late 20’s, 6 feet tall, and 180 pounds.
The suspect is known to the victim.
