CASS COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that a vehicle crash sent one driver to the hospital Monday.
Around 4:36 p.m., deputies responded to a call regarding the crash, which took place on Hathaway Rd. near Church St. in Cass County, Michigan.
30-year-old Donna Wright of Marcellus was traveling northbound on Hathaway when she moved closer to the side of the road to make room for another vehicle approaching.
In doing so, Wright’s vehicle entered into a small culvert in the roadway, lost control, and struck a tree.
Edwardsburg Ambulance transported Wright to Borgess Kalamazoo Hospital for her injuries.
Seat belts were worn at the time, and alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
