PINE GROVE TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A Gobels man is facing multiple charges, including a drug count, after he led deputies on a car and foot chase through Van Buren County.
Authorities attempted to pull him over for reckless driving near M-40 and County Road 388 just before 4 a.m. Tuesday but he speed off heading eastbound into oncoming traffic.
He then turned around in a parking lot and drove back westbound on County Road 388 before he ditched the vehicle behind a home and fled on foot.
That’s when deputies launched K-9 Kuno who located the 25-year-old man about 200-yards away.
He was arrested for a probation violation, driving with a suspended license and for possession of meth, among other charges.
