KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A federal lawsuit filed by a Loy Norrix High School freshman saying Kalamazoo Public Schools officials did not properly investigate her claim of being sexually assaulted by other students in April 2023 has been dismissed.
The student filed the lawsuit in February.
Court records indicate the suit was dismissed in early June.
She said in the lawsuit that she was the victim of sex and gender-based harassment, and assault and battery by a group of students.
