COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Consumers Energy officials are releasing more details on a power outage causing problems on the east side of Kalamazoo.
The outage was first reported around 6:45 a.m. Monday along H Avenue, east of Gull Road in Comstock Township.
Officials say a vehicle struck a utility pole near the intersection of Gull Road and 26th Street causing nearly 1,800 customers to lose power.
The outage was expected to be restored around 9:45 a.m., but it has now been pushed back until 12:30 p.m.
