KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – An early Saturday morning shooting has left a 21-year-old dead.
Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers were called out around 2:50 a.m. on reports of shots fired in the 700 block of North Westnedge Avenue. While en route, officers learned that a person had been shot.
The man was taken by private vehicle to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. He later died at the hospital.
KDPS says the investigation is in its preliminary stages, and no suspect information is available at this time.
