CASS COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Cass County Sheriff’s Department is reporting that a personal injury crash involving an 18-wheeler caused minor injuries.
Around 8:20 p.m. Monday night, Deputies were called to M-60 near Barron Lake Rd. in Howard Township.
According to an official press release, Jennie Myland, a 40 year-old resident of Niles, was driving Southwest on M-60 when she lost control of her vehicle and crossed into the path of an 18-wheeler heading the same direction.
Myland did not sustain any injuries, but a teenage female had a minor injury and was transported to Lakeland Niles Hospital. The truck driver, David Mishler, a 37 year-old resident of South Bend, IN did not sustain any injuries.
Seatbelts were worn by occupants of both vehicles.
