BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN) – A Battle Creek man has been charged with robbing a McDonald’s restaurant at gunpoint.
44 year old Randy Evil was arraigned Tuesday on a charge of armed robbery. If convicted, Evil faces up to life in prison.
He is accused of robbing the McDonald’s store at 812 West Columbia Avenue Friday shorlly after 8:00 p.m.
According to the Battle Creek Enquirer, employees told police he entered the store to correct an order from the drive-thru and, after a few minutes, pulled out a a silver revolver and pointed it at a female clerk and demanded all the money in the registers.
Police said the robber obtained an undisclosed amount of money.
He then left the store and drove away with a woman who police have identified as his wife.
After reviewing video from the robbery, Battle Creek Police found and arrested Evil Saturday. Evil’s wife has not been charged.
Evil reportedly has six prior felony convictions, including a home invasion and larceny over $100, and 10 misdemeanors.
