DECATUR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit is reporting that a bust in Decatur Wednesday has lead to one arrest.
Around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, investigators executed a search warrant on the property. Two suspects were at the property when the warrant was served.
During the search, investigators found suspected methamphetamine, paraphernalia for using methamphetamine, a digital scale, a handgun and a Stolen Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The first suspect is described as a 42-year-old male from Decatur. He was arrested on the following charges –
- Possession With Intent to Deliver (PWID) Methamphetamine
- Felony Firearm
- Felon in possession of firearm
- Maintaining a Drug House
- Receiving and Concealing Stolen Property
- Warrant arrest – Warrant for Fail to Appear: original charge Domestic Assault, 7th District court – Van Buren.
The second suspect is described as a 47-year-old male from from Decatur. This suspect has not been arrested at this time; authorities say they will seek a methamphetamine possession charge against him later on.
The incident will be forwarded to the prosecutor for review.
