MARSHALL, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Marshall Police Department is asking for help in identifying who was behind damage to a city-owned athletic field.
The department posted photos of the damage to their Facebook page. The perpetrators evidently damaged a shed, tore up baseball bases, and tore apart facility locks at the field on 1113 W. Michigan Avenue in Marshall.
Police say that workers discovered the damage on Wednesday November 5th. While an investigation into the incident is ongoing, they believe the vandalism took place sometime in the last few weeks.
A motive for the damage has not been established.
