THREE RIVERS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Police are investigating a threat against Three Rivers High School that caused students to go home early.
Officials say that a threat directed at the school forced them to put the building under a “soft lock-down” on the morning of Friday, November 22nd to prevent any harm to students. The precaution was in-effect just prior to 10 A.M. before police were called in.
After the Three Rivers Police Department began its investigation students were sent home for the remainder of the day at 11:30 A.M.
Three Rivers Community Schools Superintendent Ron Moag posted a message to the community and families of students on the school <a href="“>Facebook page informing them of the threat.
He’s urging anyone with information to contact the Three Rivers High School main office or the Three Rivers Police Department.
