BURR OAK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A road patrol deputy with the St. Joseph County Sheriffs’ Office executed a traffic stop around 2 o’ clock Friday afternoon on M-66 near Hackman Road in Burr Oak Towhship for a vehicle with an equipment violation.
During the stop, the deputy found the driver, a 34-old Mendon man, operating a vehicle without a drivers license, using a license plate from a different automobile, and found methamphetamine inside the vehicle he was driving.
The driver was then arrested and lodged in the St. Joseph County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine, driving while on a suspended license, and using an improper license plate.
