KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A suspect is in custody after a shooting incident early Sunday morning that injured three people.
Around 2:20 a.m., Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers responded to the 700 block of Trimble Avenue for a report of shots being fired. On scene, officers located a 21-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound.
Shortly after, officers were notified that two additional gunshot victims, a 19-year-old male and a 14-year-old male, arrived at a local hospital via private vehicle. The 19-year-old male is listed in critical condition.
