COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department has announced the discovery of an old car in the bed of Morrow Lake.
Upon lowering the levels, the vehicle was discovered buried in the lake bed.
It is currently unknown how the vehicle, which appears to be a Chevrolet Impala from the 1960’s with a registration from the 70’s, ended up in the lake.
Police are asking the public to leave the vehicle alone while an investigation is underway. Authorities want to make sure that no foul play was involved in the incident.
Police are currently talking with towing companies about removing the vehicle, which may take up to two weeks.
