LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Southwest Michigan pastor Ralph Rebandt will not be on the Republican primary ballot in August in the race for governor, and neither will Kim Thomas.
The two were rejected by the Board of State Canvassers yesterday as they determined neither had enough petition signatures from valid registered voters.
The canvassers did rule that Congressman John James and businessman Perry Johnson each had enough signatures to appear on the GOP primary ballot.
Johnson was denied being on the primary ballot in 2024.
