MASON TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — An Edwardsburg man is injured after a crash in Cass County on Thanksgiving morning.
It happened around 6:45 a.m. Thursday on Mason Street near Gordon Road in Mason Township.
Cass County Sheriff deputies say 44-year-old Jonathan Wagers was traveling eastbound when he ran off the roadway, struck a mailbox, and then slammed into a tree.
He was taken to Elkhart General Hospital where his current condition has not been released.
At this time, it’s unclear if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. Authorities are still investigating.
