KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Is anyone missing a duck?
On Tuesday, the Kalamazoo Township Police Department shared a post on their Facebook post about an unexpected visitor to their offices
This little guy showed up today and although we think he’s cute, we’re pretty sure he belongs somewhere else. If you know the owner of this duck please let them know. He is at the Township offices at 1720 Riverview Drive.
But on Wednesday, the duck apparently decided to move on, according to the department in a follow up comment on the post.
Our little friend has ducked out and flown the coop! If you are still looking for him, he was last seen southbound…probably to a warmer climate!
The department’s office on Riverview Drive near the city of Parchment is also close to the Kalamazoo River but the duck appears to be domestic. Other followers of the department’s page have shared the post into various lost pets Facebook groups, but there’s no indication that the duck has been found yet. Some people also took the opportunity to make some good puns related to a duck showing up at a police office.
We hope he can be located and returned to its owners, especially with much colder weather expected in the next couple of weeks.
