LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Democrat Jocelyn Benson is leading all candidates in the race to be Michigan’s next governor in the latest poll from Glengariff Group.
The current Secretary of State has 34.2% support, Republican Congressman John James is second with 29.2%, and independent former Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan is at 23%.
If businessman Perry Johnson wins the GOP nomination, Benson leads him 34% to 26%, with Duggan’s support remaining at 23%.
The former Detroit mayor has lost support from Democrats and independents, but has gained backing from Republicans.
