JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — One person is injured after a two car crash in Cass County over the weekend.
It happened around 4:15 p.m. Sunday on M-62 and Hospital Street in Jefferson Township.
Deputies say 35-year-old Adam Kolker of Cassopolis was at the intersection facing westbound and attempted to turn southbound onto M-62, not noticing the oncoming vehicle.
Kolker collided with the southbound vehicle, driven by 28-year-old Nathan Herman from Elkhart.
Herman was taken to Elkhart General Hospital where his condition has not been released.
Authorities do not believe alcohol was a factor but they are still investigating the crash.
