PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The city of Portage will be closing Schuring Road from Oakland Drive to South Westnedge for through traffic starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday.
The closure is to allow crews to install water service in the 1800 block of Schuring Road.
It is expected to reopen by 5 p.m. on Friday, weather permitting.
Drivers are being told to follow the posted detour route of Oakland Drive to Romence Road and South Westnedge Avenue to Romence Road.
