BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Four Battle Creek fire trucks are going up for auction.
City officials say the emergency vehicles were mainly used for training purposes and for backup in other situations but now they are no longer needed.
The fire trucks range in years from 1976 to 1985, were regularly maintained, and are in great condition according to the auction’s website.
It adds that they would be perfect for a smaller city or for other events like parades.
Those interested can bid online starting Tuesday on biddergy.com.
The fire trucks start at $500 and the auction will run from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.
