SPRINGFIELD, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Shots were fired just after 11:00 p.m. Thursday in the city of Springfield at a Mobil gas station.
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office responded to the call from dispatch at the area of West Michigan Avenue and West Van Buren Street and learned an argument had broken out between several parties of people at the station.
A man and a woman in a white SUV made threats to shoot one of the people, and then fired multiple shots near a small crowd.
Deputies say no one was injured and no property was damaged. They recovered several shell casings in the area, and those are under investigation.
