KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The city of Kalamazoo is planning a week of events downtown as they put a wrap on the Design it! Phase of their Imagine Kalamazoo 2035 project.
They are putting together another grand design for the next decade, where residents would like the city to be in ten years, and they are gathering ideas now.
Here is City Manager Malcolm Hankins.
City Planner Christine Anderson says there will be business breakfasts, walking tours, workshops, information meetings, and public sessions.
She says this is the chance for residents to be heard on what they want as City Hall compiles their master plan.
Future budgets, construction, and policies will be based on this plan.
