BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Adults 60 and older along with their families and caregivers are invited to attend the 2026 Calhoun County Senior Expo on May 21st at Kellogg Arena.
Calhoun County Senior Services is putting on the expo with Oaklawn Hospital and Bronson Hospital from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., and it’s free.
Over 100 vendors will be at the arena offering education, resources, and services tailored to the needs of older adults.
Vendors include a wide range of local businesses, nonprofit organizations, public agencies, and health care providers who are all focused on serving and supporting older adults in our community.
Guests can enjoy coffee, tea, and donut holes in the morning. A free lunch from Pastrami Joes will be served from 11:30 a.m. while supplies last.
Attendees are welcome to visit as many or as few vendors as they like, many of whom will offer free giveaways.
There will also be raffle prize drawings throughout the event, thanks to generous donations from participating vendors and area businesses.
Event highlights will include:
* Interactive Displays such as the Miles for Memories inflatable brain and the Cancer Prevention Coalition’s inflatable colon, “Seymore”
* Live animal encounters with A.R.K. Animal Encounters
* Photobooth
* Games & Activities
* Miles for Memories will offer onsite registration for their Help Home and ID Bracelet program
