MARSHALL, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A doctor is facing charges of criminal sexual conduct after police say they received an allegation of assualt that happened years ago from an area woman.
55-year-old Dr. Mark Walker of Marshall was arraigned on fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct charges on Thursday, December 5 in Calhoun County District Court.
Walker, a physician at Oaklawn Hospital, is denying allegations that he sexually groped a 23-year-old girl eight years ago when she was 16. The Marshall Police Department opened an investigation into the incident in May after she reported the alleged actions to them.
Walker has been an obstetrician and gynecologist in Marshall since 1995.
