PAW PAW, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Van Buren County Sheriff Deputies have arrested six people who were smoking meth at a motel.
The Van Buren County Sherrif’s Office Narcotics Unit and Michigan Department of Corrections were dispatched to the 38,000 block of Red Arrow Highway in Paw Paw Township around 8 pm Thursday where they found seven people in two rooms at the Red Arrow Motel with Methamphetamine.
Narcotics Detectives, Deputies, and Agents from Michigan Department of Corrections entered the Motel and conducted a search of the rooms when they confirmed that all subjects were on Parole with Michigan Department of Corrections.
In all, seven subjects were arrested and taken to the Van Buren County Jail. Authorities say that a woman that was with the group was released, but still could face charges.
