ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Allegan County authorities say poor visibility was in-part to blame for a semi-truck crash on U.S. 131 Sunday.
Deputies responded to an area of the freeway south of M-222 in Martin Township. A male driver, female passenger, and a dog were involved in the single vehicle crash on the west side of the roadway. During the investigation, the driver was arrested on charges unrelated to the crash. Those specific charges were not immediately available.
Efforts to recover the semi-truck were hampered by fog, but a wrecker was eventually able to safely clear the scene.
