LANSING, MI — The flooding across mid-Michigan that damaged homes and businesses and even closed a few mid-Michigan roads is subsiding, authorities say.
Some of the roads across mid-Michigan that were closed by heavy weekend rains have reopened today (Monday), according to local authorities. Saturday’s rain totaled three inches in some spots across the area.
Many homes across the area also suffered damage the result of flooded basements. Plumbing and restoration companies reported a surge in phone calls on Sunday.
